Day 2- Your first love

Day 2- Your First Love
There were 2 times i " thought" that i might have been in love before i met R. But i was young( er lol) I can say that i did love the 2 boys, but i think it went more of a friendship/brotherly. Because once i met R. it was a different kind of feeling than it ever was with the other two.

My first real true Love was my husband. We were each others first boyfriend and girl friend, first kisses, ect.( And yes we will proudly say we waited to have sex until we were married as well, yah all the mushy stuff haha) We met in January of 2005 when i switched high schools. We started " school" dating about 2 weeks after. Those were my parents stipulations, to only see each other at school activities for a few months. It worked out well because we were both in the after school musical, Annie, which gave us time to hang out. We didn't have our first kiss until April of that month. We were together for almost a year when i knew i was going to marry him. I think he felt the same way around the same time. Nothing was officially said to each other about it until we were at a friends wedding though. His friend Ralph and his wife Rachel had invited us both, it was our first time to dance with each other although we had been together for 2 years then. As we were dancing he looked down and asked me if i would marry him someday. Of course my eyes got teary and i nodded. It because official December 25th of 2007 when he knelt down on muddy cold ground and presented me with a beautiful ring.
We had struggles along the way like anyone else, but God kept our love strong and together. We got married May 12th of 2008 all by ourselves in the jp's office in South Carolina and i would not have had it any other way.

It's amazing how much love can change throughout the years. We have been together for about 6 years total, married for over 2... and it still surprises me. When you take that step from just dating, to being engaged... its such a huge thing! Your love goes from barely being able to be away from that person, to wanting to be with them forever. Then add the wedding band and its forever. When you decide you want to have a child with your husband/ wife then its a whole new ballgame of love and respect. I still learn new things about him almost every single day, and he i.

Thankfully throughout the whole relationship my parents were 100% behind me. When i told them we would be getting married ( before i was 20 ) they accepted it and never questioned it. When we decided to not have a wedding, or any family there that day, they understood and never questioned or wanted it any other way. I would not have my first love if it was not for my mom and dad being so supportive and there to talk with us.
