Day 5- Definition of Love

So in the list it says " definition of Loveday" I'm gonna take that as a typo that they didnt mean to add day to the end of it and go with my definition of Love. ( got the idea from Becca (-: )

My definition of Love. I want to say that it's a tough thing to write about because there are so many things to write about, and then i stop and realize it's one of the easiest things to explain. God. God is Love, Love is God. My main definition of Love and how it can be explained is through what Jesus did on the cross for all of us. God sent his Son to this earth through Mary, a virgin. She became pregnant through the Holy spirit of God! I mean how amazing is that. Not only did God send his son through her, but the story plot gets even more in depth. He grows up just like any other child would... but he is perfect and without flaws. Then it comes that he is taken in as a criminal for sharing the word of his father, God. He is tortured and made fun of, and then the ultimate humiliation of being put up on the cross with two other major criminals for others to watch die. Does he slump over himself and go " woe is me"? No he does it because he knows it is what his father wanted. His father sent him here.. on earth to die for US. People say things like.. i would die for my husband or my wife, but would you die for everyone in this world? even the people who have completely wronged you, hurt you? And then take it one step further.... would you let your only child die for everyone else?
God is the only definition of Love that there can be in this world. To try to compare that definition to anything else, you can't even come close.

And because of what he and his son did for us we can now be forgiven in a way that is unthinkable for us to do. God is amazing, God is Love, Love is God.
